Gawsworth and Macclesfield Forest

I had a trip up to Macclesfield today and took the opportunity to stop off on the way and take some pictures. First Gawsworth Hall and the church set beside a small lake on the edge of its village, and Nancy’s Wood which is maintained by the parish council. Very picturesque Cheshire. Then Macclesfield Forest, which is a United Utilities site with the Trentabank and Ridgegate reservoirs surrounded by forestry so they can control the water quality. After the dry spring, you can see how low the water level is!
